Customer Information System
The Customer Information System provides full control of the running timetable in a railway system. It can be configured to operate in a number of modes, from a simple slave terminal, to a full network master. In each mode, the level of automation provided completes background tasks such as creating a departure summary, NTI or NextTrain display, and posting the relevant messages to other modules on the system to ensure that those displays, and announcements are correctly output.
CisOperator can be run entirely manually, with timed posting and/or departing, or driven from an external TD information feed.
Output is provided by the distributed Display Management System, which can provide a wide range of display alternatives linked via a variety of network structures.
