Forms - Signature Pad

The original Signature-pad is no longer maintained, so while it still works, it may fail at some time due to changes in other areasof the browser infrastructure. https://github.com/thread-pond/signature-pad still documents this version of the pad.

A similar project is currently being maintained at https://github.com/szimek/signature_pad

One of the advantages of the newer component is that it has facilities to trim the white space around the signature which makes it easier to maintain a uniform size of signature stored internally.

Other options on the toolbox include jSignature which still supports IE7 & 8 so is a little archaic today.
